Cumming set to honor veterans

CUMMING - The City of Cumming Veterans Day Ceremony will be held this year on <br /> Monday, November 11 at 11:00. Planning for this event alternates each <br /> year between the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. <br /> <br /> This year it falls to the VFW post in Cumming. <br /> <br /> The Keynote Address will be given by Command Sgt. Major Roy F. Marchert, currently serving as Command Sgt. Major of the 560th Battle Field Surveillance Brigade. <br /> <br /> The ceremony will also include the Forsyth Central High School Flash of <br /> Crimson Band, representatives from the VFW and VFW Auxiliary, <br /> American Legion Auxiliary, Daughters of the American Revolution, the <br /> Forsyth County Sheriff's and Fire Joint Honor Guard Rifle Team and <br /> Boy Scout and Cub Scout Troop 245.
