Georgia State University students robbed in their dorm room

ATLANTA (AP) Three suspects are in custody after police say four students were robbed at gunpoint in their dorm room at Georgia State University in Atlanta.

GSU spokeswoman Andrea Jones says one of the suspects is a Georgia State student.

Jones says the GSU student, who lives in one of the dormitories at the Atlanta campus, is accused of using his university identification card to sign in the other two men at the building's security check-in.

Police say the suspects knocked on the door and two of the suspects pointed a hand gun in the students' faces and robbed them of an iPad and cellphones Wednesday evening.

Authorities say one suspect turned himself in to Atlanta police, another was turned in by his mother, and the third was apprehended by campus police.
