KHB's Community Yard Sale, Recycle Fair and Shoe Collection Drive is Nov. 2

GAINESVILLE - Time is running out if you would like to participate in Keep Hall Beautiful's (KHB's) Community Yard Sale, Recycle Fair and Shoe Collection Drive.<br /> <br /> Keep Hall Beautiful is offering several ways to clear out household clutter while supporting local environmental education and beautification efforts in the area. <br /> <br /> KHB will be hosting the 2nd Annual America Recycles Day Community Yard Sale and Recycle Fair on Saturday, November 2, in the parking lot at the corner of Jesse Jewell and Main Street.<br /> <br /> Yard Sale spaces are available to the public for $10 per space and will be allotted on a first come first serve basis. Preregistration is required to reserve a space. <br /> <br /> KHB will also be providing free booth space for nonprofits and civic organizations who collect previously owned and/or used items for a cause, (i.e. blankets and newspapers for animal shelter). The spaces are subject to registration and approval. <br /> <br /> Non-traditional Recycling opportunities will again be available at this event. There will be document shredding as well as electronic, scrap metal, cell phone, towels, linens, batteries and more. <br /> <br /> This year there will is also advance drop-off for electronics and shoe <br /> recycling.
