GAINESVILLE - National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month is upon us.

To that end, Chrysler has teamed up with the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights to instill bullying prevention instincts in parents, teachers and students that are equal to that of putting on a seatbelt in a car. The bullying prevention campaign coincides with Chrysler's long standing Drive for the Kids program, which helps area schools raise additional funds.

On October 18 from 5:00-8:30 during the Fall Festival at Mount Vernon Exploratory, Hayes Chrysler-Plymouth-Dodge Inc. of Gainesville will host a Chrysler Drive for the Kids fundraiser to benefit the school and educate parents on how to prevent bullying before it starts, through RFK Project SEATBELT (Safe Environments Achieved Through Bullying Prevention Engagement Leadership Teaching Respect). Find more information here, http://bullying.rfkcenter.org/.

For every test drive taken during the hours of the fundraiser, the school will earn $10 from Chrysler brand to be put toward enrichment programs of their choice.
