The annual Oakwood Secret Santa Car Show will be held Saturday, October 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hayes dealership at 3115 Frontage Road in Oakwood. Organizers say they will award 11 "Best Of" awards as well as plaques for the Top 25 vehicles.
Rods, muscle, classic, antiques, trucks, motorcycles and race cars are all eligible to enter for a minimum $20 donation. All proceeds will be used to purchase Christmas gifts for needy children in the Oakwood area.
In addition to the car show, organizers say they will offer vendor space for those who want to sell arts and crafts at the Saturday event. The event also will feature live music by the Martin Adams Band, food and raffle prizes. A rain date is Saturday, October 12.
