Isom, who gained national media when she tried out for a kicking position on the LSU football team, has a long list of honors to her name, including the 2011 LSU Living Female Athlete of the Year, 2011 Glamour Magazine Top 10 College Women Nominee and 2012 "225 Magazine" People To Watch.
Above any honors, however, Isom has a strong Christian testimony to share. Despite her accomplishments on the soccer field, she has battled bulimia and struggled with the suicide of her father in her young life; she readily shares how her faith has strengthened her through those trials.
The Home Team Banquet is scheduled for Thursday, February 7 at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Gainesville. Some tables and individual seats are still available. To make a reservation, call 770-561-1014 or e-mail [email protected].
