Flood warning for Dawson County; wind advisory for N. Ga.

UNDATED - The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the Etowah River near Dawsonville until futher notice. <br />
<br />
Forecasters say at 1 a.m. thursday, the state was 12.6 feet and rising quickly. Flood stage is 13 feet. Minor flooding is forecast in south Dawson County.<br />
<br />
In addition, minor flooding continues on Nicholson Road in northwest Forsyth County.<br />
<br />
Also today, forecasters have issued a high wind advisory for most of north and central Georgia until 4 p.m.<br />
<br />
Winds will come from the west at 15-25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.<br />
<br />
Forecasters warn that winds this strong can down weakened trees and make <br />
driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
