Boys basketball: War Eagles' 10 treys sink Hab Central

MT. AIRY -- Chestatee forced 32 Habersham Central turnovers and hit 10 3-pointers in taking an 80-69 win over the Raiders Saturday night in boys basketball action.

The War Eagles (10-9) are one of the hottest teams in north Georgia having won three straight and nine of their last 10 games.

Chestatee shot 34 3-pointers for the game and hit 22-of-30 free throws. The War Eagles held Habersham Central to just 3-of-15 3-pointers for the game.
