Girls basketball: Hab Central nips Chestatee

MT. AIRY -- Habersham Central rallied from an early deficit and held Chestatee to just four fourth quarter points to nip the Lady War Eagles 37-36 Saturday night in girls basketball action.
Chestatee (16-5) led 16-13 after the first quarter and took a 22-21 lead into halftime. The Lady War Eagles pushed their lead to 32-30 heading into the fourth quarter.
The Lady Raiders outscored Chestatee 7-4 in the final period.
Maegan Kenimer led Chestatee with 13 points. Sam Brown added eight points for the Lady War Eagles.
