Broken power pole closes portion of Highland Rd. in north Hall Co.

GAINESVILLE - Authorities say a broken power pole on Highland Road just off Jim Hood Road in the north Hall County area has the road closed until further notice.<br /> <br /> Hall County dispatchers report that Highland Road has been closed, although they did not specify a reason that the pole might have broken.<br /> <br /> <i>As of 11:30 a.m. Monday, more than 200 customers in the area remained without electricity as the result of the accident.</i>
