Girls basketball: Lumpkin County falls to Stephens County

DAHLONEGA -- Stephens County received strong offensive performances from three players to beat Lumpkin County 54-35 Saturday in Dahlonega.

Charity Major led all scorers with 17 points. Mya Cleveland also had 11 points, with Emily Mote chipping in with 10.

Lumpkin County was led by Morgan Wood with 13 points.

Lumpkin next travels to Chestatee on Tuesday.
