PHOENIX - Two or three corrections officers were among those treated after a fight broke out among about 200 black and Hispanic inmates at the state prison complex in Tucson, Ariz.

Arizona Department of Corrections spokesman Bill Lamoreaux says he knew of only two injured officers, plus 11 inmates.

A spokeswoman at University of Arizona Medical Center said three guards were injured but had been released. Seven inmates were also treated Thursday evening at the system's two hospitals. One inmate is in critical condition, two are serious and two are fair. Two others were released.

Lamoreaux says he doesn't know where the other four inmates were taken.

Prison officials say the fight started about 5:30 p.m. Thursday. A riot at a prison in Folsom, Calif., on Wednesday injured 13 inmates.
