Barrow County Sheriff's Task Force Investigators arrested David Alan Wolf, 62, of Rock Hill, South Carolina in connection with an ongoing undercover investigation involving online sexual predators.
Sheriff's Lt. Matt Guthas said an undercover Winder Police Officer posed as a 34-year old mother of an 8-year old child. He said she chatted with the suspect online for two weeks.
Guthas said on Tuesday, Wolf traveled from South Carolina to Winder with the intent of having sexual relations with what he believed to be the 34-year old mother and her 8-year old female child. Investigators said Wolf was very explicit in requests for sexual acts through his online chats.
Wolf was arrested without incident and remains in the Barrow County Detention Center.
