The Lady Dragons defeated Athens Christian in the first match 2-0 (26-24, 25-20) and then whipped Grayson and won in straight sets 2-0 (25-10, 25-11). Jefferson then knocked off Tallulah Falls 2-0 (25-15, 25-20) before falling to Apalachee in straight sets 27-25-, 25-15. The Lady Dragons finished the day with a straight sets win over East Jackson (25-16, 25-12).
"This was our biggest volleyball event in the history of our program, Jefferson coach Mike Paul said. "It was a great day to play and especially nice to play at home for the first time this season and for the first time with Air Conditioning in our gym."
Sarah Wood finished the day with 44 kills and 10 aces to lead Jefferson. Linsey Nilsen the day with 17 kills and Daniela Franco had 12 kills and six aces.
Grace Williamson and Paige Watson combined for 74 assists for Jefferson.
