Softball: Lady Falcons beat N. Cobb in Buccaneers bash

ACWORTH -- Flowery Branch opened the Buccaneers Bash tournament hosted by Allatoona with a 9-3 win over North Cobb Friday.

Jessica Gunter led the Lady falcons tossing a complete game to earn the win.

Madison Whitmire had four hits, including two doubles, and three RBI to pace the Lady Falcons at the plate. Lily Parks had a double and two RBI for Flowery Branch.

Flowery Branch (7-5) has won three straight games for the first time this season.
