GAINESVILLE - The woman convicted for her role in a Valentine's Day murder at a Hall County park two years ago has been sentenced to life in prison.

Hall County District Attorney Lee Darragh said Judge Jason Deal handed down the life sentence without the possibility of parole to Lynitra Ross.

Forty-five-year-old Richard Schoek was found dead on Valentine's night 2010 at Belton Bridge Park near Lula. He had been shot multiple times, according to authorities

Ross was found guilty in May of acting as the go-between for Richard Schoek's wife, Stacey Schoek and accused gunman Reginald Coleman.
