STATHAM - A Statham man is in jail, facing charges connected to a home invasion in the city on July 9.

Statham Police Department spokesman Michael Pruitt said Randell Darrell Glass, 31, faces a number of charges in connection with the robbery and home invasion on Noah Lane, including armed robbery, burglary, false
imprisonment, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony
and the wearing of a mask during a crime.

Pruitt said Randell Glass is being held right now in the Barrow County Detention Center on charges unrelated to the home invasion.

No one was hurt during the incident, although a substantial amount of cash was stolen, according to Pruitt.

He said investigators have also obtained warrants against a second suspect in the case.
