DAHLONEGA -- After several weather delays, Jeff Dennis and Cedric Scotto were able to finish their third rounds in the NGA TOUR Classic at Achasta presented by Ace Wiring, and the duo held the clubhouse lead at 14-under par when play was suspended on Saturday.

Scotto, a Southeastern Louisiana University alumnus from Mulhouse, France, navigated the par-71, 6,967-yard course without a bogey on Saturday and rolled in seven birdies during his 7-under-64 round.

Dennis, former University of North Florida golfer from Jacksonville, Fla., also went blemish-free around Achasta Golf Club in the third round en route to a 6-under 65 and a share of the clubhouse lead.

Kyle McCarthy of Denver, Colo., also completed his third round before play was halted and nearly joined Scotto and Dennis atop the leaderboard. The Eckerd College alumnus fired a 5-under 65 and finished the day tied for third. Brian Richey of Lakeland, Fla., carded his second 66 in as many days to join McCarthy in a tie for third at 13-under par.

Second round co-leaders Mark Silvers (Savannah), Chris Nagel (Chesterfield, Mo.) and Evan Beirne (Jupiter, Fla.) were still on the course when play was suspended, but their 13-under, two-round totals will keep the trio in contention on Sunday.

Riley Wheeldon (Comox, Canada) and Patrick Wilkes-Krier (Orlando, Fla.) were T8 and 12-under par when play was suspended. Wheeldon carded a 5-under 66, while Wilkes-Krier was unable to complete his third round.
