CLEVELAND -- About 50 people escaped injury when a tour bus slid into a ditch while leaving Camp Coleman north of Cleveland Monday morning.

White County Fire Department spokeswoman Ana Newberry said the bus possibly slipped on wet grass and slid into a shallow ditch. The incident happened around 8 a.m.

Because there was no word initially on injuries, White County Fire Department and EMS initially sent numerous units, but those units were canceled when initial personnel arrived on scene and determined there were no injuries.

"Firefighters remain on scene awaiting the arrival of the tour bus company for their investigation," Newberry reported about 10 a.m.
