Bats force closure of Buford apartment building

BUFORD - Four families who lived in a small apartment building in Buford have been forced out of their homes by bats.

The families said they had been living with the bats for months, but nobody took any action until one resident called the health department.

Gwinnett County health inspectors then forced the evacuation of the building on Power Avenue. The American Red Cross was called in to help the displaced families.
