Southern Explosion claims state U-14 Dizzy Dean crown

The Southern Explosion 14-and-under softball team recently claimed both a district and state title, including the Dizzy Dean Georgia crown this past weekend in Chickamagua.

The Explosion will travel to Southaven, Miss., to compete in the Dizzy Dean World Series July 12-15.

The Explosion is based out of Hall County, with a number of players from Lula.
