Gainesville adds more online payment options

GAINESVILLE - Airport Hangar Rental Fees, GovDeals online auction purchases (used by the city to sell surplus property), and registration for events like Art in the Square may now be paid on-line through the City of Gainesville website, www.gainesville.org.

Beverly Williams, Financial Services Manager for the Administrative Services Department, said this is just one more way the City is improving customer service.

"We've been adding options to the on-line payment system for several years. Our customers have been asking for this convenience and we're glad to be able to offer it."

Users may also purchase tickets for Georgia Mountains Center events, pay traffic citations, and city taxes online.
