GAINESVILLE - A Hall County Superior Court jury has returned a guilty verdict against Lynitra Ross in the murder of Richard Shoek in north Hall County on February 14, 2010.

A spokesperson for Judge Jason Deal's office said the verdict was handed down early Tuesday afternoon; deliberations began in the case Monday.

Ross had been accused of acting as the go-between for Richard Shoek's wife, Stacey Shoek and accused gunman Reginald Coleman. Both Ross and Coleman are from Acworth. Stacey Shoek is from Snellville.

Richard Shoek, who was 45 when he was killed, was found dead on Valentine's night two years ago at Belton Bridge Park near Lula. He had been shot multiple times, according to authorities.

No sentencing date has been set for Ross at this point.
