GAINESVILLE - The North Georgia Christian School (NGCS) community Monday nightgathered in its new facility for the school's annual Spring Arts Festival. This was the first glimpse of the school's transitional home for many families.

"I have to say, in the 10 years we've been at the school, I have never seen a better turn-out at any event! Tonight was awesome & we are excited for our future!" said Candi Martin, mother of three students in 4th, 8th, and 10th grades.

Brooke Kalinauskas, parent of a 1st-grader, added, "What an awesome night tonight. Thank you teachers and staff for all you did. The art was amazing, the music was awesome, the food was great and the fellowship was amazing. Chestnut Mountain church was fantastic. We are blessed beyond measures!"

North Georgia Christian School will temporarily locate in the Chestnut Mountain Church facility in Flowery Branch as it identifies property in the area for a permanent home in the north Georgia community. (See earlier story.)
