Anti-freeze murder cases to get national TV airing

UNDATED - The case of the Forsyth County woman who went to prison for the anti-freeze poisoning deaths of her husband and live-in boyfriend in separate and widely-publicized cases will be the subject of a national television program Friday.

Investigation Discovery is featuring the murders of Glenn Turner and Randy Thompson on its New series "Motives & Murders."

The story began unfolding in 1995, when Turner, a young Cobb County police officer, died, apparently of natural causes. Not long after his death, his widow, Lynn Turner, moved in with Thompson, a Forsyth County firefighter, who soon died, as well.

But as the promotions for "Motives & Murders" put it "detectives investigate the cases with the help of a dogged journalist and uncover a twisted tale of love, passion and ultimate betrayal by a killer who almost gets away with it."

Lynn Turner was ultimately convicted of killing both men by poisoning them with anti-freeze, and was sentenced to life in prison. However, not long after beginning her sentence, she died in prison... her death ruled a suicide.

The episode, titled "Toxic Love," includes interviews with:
