Big rig, motorcycle crash closes Hwy. 441

COMMERCE - An accident involving a tractor trailer and a motorcycle shut down Highway 441 near Interstate 85 in Commerce for a time Thursday morning.

The crash occurred around 6:30 a.m.

Authorities said an air ambulance was called to the scene to transport one patient.

At this point, authorities have not released details on how the accident happened. They also have not released the indentities of those involved.
