Golf: Falcons take 8-AAAA title

HOSCHTON -- The Flowery Branch boys golf team fired a 318 to win the Region 8-AAAA championship Tuesday at Reunion Country Club.

Kameron Williams paced the Falcons with a 76. Eric Little shot an 80 while Colby Stone and Jake Barfield each shot an 81 for Flowery Branch. shooting an 81. Sean McKnight and Kyle Erickson both carded 86s for the Falcons.

Flowery Branch will move on to the Class AAAA state tournament on May 7 at Jones Creek Golf Club in Augusta.
