Revisions to Hall Co. alcohol code could come this week

GAINESVILLE - Hall County commissioners hold a second reading and public hearing on revisions to the county's alcohol code Monday afternoon, revisions that will allow Sunday package sales.

Hall County voters okayed Sunday sales for unincorporated parts of the county on March 6.

If all goes as expected at the work session and commissioners vote on revision at their Thursday meeting, Sunday retail sales of alcohol can begin this Sunday for businesses that have submitted the proper paperwork to the county.

The revision in the alcohol code is the first order of business on the work session agenda.
