Chestatee rallied to tie the game on a goal by Alexis Rebollar in the 26th minute finishing off a direct kick from Melanie Smith. Lanier would take a 2-1 lead into halftime when Chestatee goalkeeper Misandy Chavez slipped in the goal mouth allowing a loose ball goal.
The Lady War Eagles appeared to tie the game on a goal by Shannon Grossman in the closing minutes of the half but the goal was called back for an apparently offside.
Lanier would add another goal in the second half to preserve the win.
