McCoy will run for Banks Co. Sheriff's post

HOMER - The list of candidates running for the Banks County Sheriff's office is growing; the latest candidate to enter the race is Clint McCoy.

According to a press release, McCoy is a lifelong resident of Banks County and
has served for 10 years as a Banks County Sheriff's Deputy, most recently as a sergeant on the force. Nine of those years he worked as a School Resource Officer.

McCoy also teaches for the Banks County School System as the automotive technology teacher.

McCoy, in the press release, said he would like to bring to the Sheriff's Office programs aimed at youth accountability and at-risk teens, as well as drug education.
