Two Gainesville men arrested on drug charges

GAINESVILLE - Two Gainesville men have been arrested in separate incidents on drug charges.

Lt. Scott Ware of the Gainesville-Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad (MANS) said Joshua Marcus Spencer, 26, is charged with Possession of Oxycodone With the Intent to Distribute.

He was arrested Wednesday at 3630 Thompson Bridge Road by MANS agents and officers from the Hall County Sheriff's Office Uniformed Patrol Division during the course of an undercover investigation.

Lt. Ware said Spence was arrested "after he delivered a quantity of Oxycodone tablets to a predetermined location to sell."

In the other case, Eric Levi Lavengood, 23, was arrested on charges of Possession of Oxycodone With the Intent to Distribute, Possession of Testosterone, Possession of Clonazepam and Possession of Dextroamphetamine.

Lt. Ware said Lavengood was arrested Thursday during a raid on his home at 3588 Sequoia Road by drug agents and sheriff's deputies.
