The GSU Football team returned to the practice fields for their third week of spring practice today and will go three more times this week. The Eagles will practice on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon before scrimmaging on Saturday morning at Allen E. Paulson Stadium.
Tickets for the EFAA event are $100 and can be purchased by calling the Georgia Southern Athletic Foundation at 912-478-5520. Ticket registration will begin at 6 p.m. and heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served thought-out the duration of the event. A silent auction full of GSU and other sports memorabilia will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The live auction will start at 9 p.m. The final 10 tickets in the reverse raffle will be announced after the conclusion of the live auction.
In a day packed with activities, the Eagles will also host the Little Eagles Camp at 10 a.m. prior to the start of the spring game. The team will be putting the kids through drills on the field at Paulson stadium and will give all youth ages 4-14 an opportunity to interact with members of the football team. The camp is free and open to all who meet the age range.
The Georgia Southern Baseball team will be in town that weekend and has moved their Saturday game time to 6 p.m. to allow for fans to spend a full day on campus. Prior to the start of the game against Appalachian State, the Athletic Foundation will provide a free cookout in the lower parking lot of J.I. Clements Stadium.
The Softball team is also in town and will take on the College of Charleston at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday. The three-game series will wrap up on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Eagle Softball Complex.
