Soccer: Falcons get PK win over Apalachee

BETHLEHEM -- Flowery Branch outscored Apalachee 4-2 in penalty kicks to take a 3-2 win over the Wildcats in a key Region 8-AAAA match Friday night.

Cris Araya and Alind Amedi scored one goal apiece in regulation for the Falcons.

Leo Manzo, Adrian Lagranda, Kevin Restrepo and Thomas Davis all scored for Flowery Brancy in the penalty kicks.

Luis Teran had 13 saves in goal, including outstsanding saves in the penalty kick phase to preserve the win for the Falcons.
