Baseball: Falcons play long ball to nip Cedar Shoals

ATHENS -- Flowery Branch ran its current win streak to three after a tight 3-2 win over Cedar Shoals Friday in Region 8-AAAA baseball action.

Drew Miles and Logan Conley each hit a home run for Flowery Branch (11-3, 5-1 in region).

Andrew Laur got the win on the mound for the Falcons.

Flowery Branch next will play host to Apalachee on Monday.
