Golf: Lady Elephants win tri-match at CGC

GAINESVILLE -- Gainesville' s Morgan Reece and Madeline Harr posted the top two scores Thursday in a tri-match with West Hall and White County to lead the Lady Elephants to a win at the Chattahoochee Golf Club.

Reece fired a 40 and Harr had a 41 to give Gainesville an 81. West Hall nipped White County 96-97, led by Malorie Smith with a 44. Olivia Johnson had a 52 for the Lady Spartans.

Brittan Slaton fired a 46 to lead White County. Jodi Sample shot a 51 for the Lady Warriors.
