Baseball (Thursday): Leopards' Foster tosses no-hitter in win over Dawson

HOMER -- Banks County senior lefthander Taylor Foster tossed a no-hitter and struck out 18 in leading the Leopards to a slim 1-0 win over Dawson County Thursday in region 8A-AA action.

The win moved Banks County (4-5, 3-2 in subregion) into a second place tie with Dawson County (5-3, 3-2).

The two teams will play again on Saturday in Dawsonville.
