Gwinnett Place group 'encouraged' by recent events, planning efforts

DULUTH - The Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District (CID) says it is "greatly encouraged" by recent events and ongoing planning efforts to produce "a stronger vision" for the county's central business district.

Right now as part of the 10-year update to the area's Livable Centers Initiative (LCI) planning process, long-range redevelopment and improvement outlooks are being created for greater Gwinnett Place, including the mall.

The update of the LCI study was completed in cooperation with Gwinnett County and the Atlanta Regional Commission.
