Golf: Lady Elephants hold off Hab Central

GAINESVILLE -- The Gainesville girls golf team beat Habersham Central in duel meet 84-99 Thursday at the Chattahoochee Golf Course.

Madeline Harr was the low medalist firing a 41 for the Lady Elephants. Morgan Reece had a 45 for Gainesville.

Ashley Blackburn shot a 48 to lead Habersham Central. Alex Oren had a 51 for the Lady Raiders.

Both teams will play Saturday in the Spartan Lanier Challenge at Lake Lanier Islands.
