Tennis: Lady Falcons smash Winder-Barrow

FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Flowery Branch girls tennis team stayed perfect in Region 8-AAAA after taking a 5-0 win over Winder-Barrow Thursday.

The Lady Falcons (13-1, 8-0 in region) did not drop a set and lost just four games in earning the victory.

Anna Kate Shaw and Elizabeth Mallory each took 6-0, 6-0 wins at Nos. 1 and 2 singles. Nicole Morris also won in straight sets.

The No. 1 doubles team of Durden Smith and Bekki Benton and the No. 2 team of Dani Taylor and Madison Smith both took 6-1, 6-0 wins to complete the sweep.
