Tennis: North Hall boys edge Franklin Co.

The North Hall boys won both doubles matches to rally for a 3-2 win over Franklin County Tuesday in Region 8A-AAA tennis action.

Nathan Jones got the only singles win for the Trojans with a close 7-6 [7-2], 6-7 [5-7], 6-3 win over Gaines Bullock at No. 1 singles.

North Hall's Reed Partrick lost to Nick Martin 6-4, 6-3 at No. 2 singles and Naim Abdulaziz lost to Brandon Myers 6-4, 6-4 at No. 3 singles.

The Trojans' Lucas Martin and Matt Booth beat Aaron Payne and Jack McCree 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles and Grant Jackson and Thomas Fisher held off Adam Brown and Luck Fowler 6-4, 3-6, 6-0 at No. 2 doubles to help clinch the match.

North Hall (3-8, 3-5 in subregion) will play host to Lanier on Wednesday.
