Force comeback falls short to Storm

TAMPA BAY -- Just a mere few days since defeating the Cleveland Gladiators at the home opener at The Arena at Gwinnett Center, the Georgia Force succumbed to the Tampa Bay Storm 50-47 in Tampa Bay.<br /> <br /> The Storm was able to hold off a late surge by the Force, despite completed touchdowns in the fourth quarter to Brandon McRae and Larry Shipp, as well as a fumble recovery by Tracy Belton with 42 seconds left in the game.<br /> <br /> The Force was able to keep it close early, with a 52 yard kickoff return for a touchdown by CJ Johnson. The Storm then scored 20 unanswered points to push their lead to 27-6 with just under two minutes to play in the first half.<br /> <br /> RJ Archer provided a spark off the bench as he entered the game late in the second quarter as QB for the Force.
