Soccer: Carter nets five in Lady Elephants' win

GAINESVILLE -- Hartley Carter scored five goals in leading the Gainesville girls soccer team to a 10-0 whitewash of Franklin County Friday night.

Elizabeth Fischer added 2 goals and Liza Carpenter, Laramy head, and Anna Youmans each scored once for the Lady Elephants (7-2, 5-0 in Region 8B-AAA).

Gainesville next will travel to Lumpkin County on Tuesday.
