Tennis: Lady Falcons still perfect in 8-AAAA

FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Flowery Branch girls tennis team remained perfect in Region 8-AAAA after takign a 4-1 win over Habersham Central Thursday.

Anna Kate Shaw and Nicole Morris both took 8-1 wins in singles for the Lady Falcons. The doubles teams of Durden Smith and Bekki Benton and Dani Taylor and Madison Smith both took 8-0 wins to seal the victory.

Habersham's lone win came from Kadie Hudgins, who beat Elizabeth Mallory 9-7 in a close match.

Flowery Branch improved to 10-1 overall and 6-0 in region play.
