Soccer: Rebollar leads Chestatee girls past Lumpkin

DAHLONEGA -- Alexis Rebollar scored two goals to lead the Chestatee girls soccer team to a 3-1 win over Lumpkin County Tuesday night.

Rebollar scored both goals in the first 17 minutes to help give the War Eagles to a 2-0 halftime lead.

Madison Dunn sealed the win for the Lady War eagles (3-5-0, 2-3-0 in subregion) with a long shot that caught the upper left corner in the first 10 minutes of the second half for a 3-0 lead.

Lumpkin (2-5-0, 0-3-0) scored off a corner kick late in the game to narrow the margin to 3-1.

Misandy Chavez made 16 saves in goal for Chestatee.

Allie Mudhenk had 15 saves for the Lady Indians.
