Baseball: Falcons move to 4-1 with shut out of Berkmar

FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Flowery Branch baseball team battered Berkmar 10-0 on Wednesday in Flowery Branch.

The Falcons (4-1) exploded for six runs in the third inning and capped their dominance with three more runs in the fourth.

Andrew Weekly earned the win on the mound for Flowery Branch, allowing just one hit for the visitors.

Andrew Larr paced the Falcons at the plate, going 2-for-2 with two RBIs. Logan Conley also went 2-for-3 with two doubles, as Flowery Branch notched six hits on the night.

The Falcons will play again on Thursday at North Oconee.
