Soccer: Lady Trojans take OT win over White Co.

CLEVELAND -- Alex Lawson scored in the first overtime period on an assist from Tristian Bailey and the North Hall defense was able to make it stand up in a thrilling 4-3 win over White County Tuesday in Region 8-AAA girls soccer action.

White County had fought back from three sepaartye deficits to send the game into overtime.

North Hall's Olivia Smith gave the Lady Trojans a 1-0 lead eight minutes into the game but White County would answer less than a minute later to tie the game 1-1. The Lady Trojans then benefitted from a White County "own goal" to retake the lead the Lady Warriors failed to clear a Tristian Bailey corner kick

But once again the Lady Warriors were able to tie the game with a goal right before the half.

Bailey would give North Hall the lead again in the ninth minute of the second half on a goal but White County answered with less than three minutes on a other goal to send the game into overtime.

North Hall stayed perfect in Region 8-AAA with the win over is now 2-0 in the region play and 2-4-0 overall.
