Tennis: Lady Falcons crush Winder-Barrow

WINDER -- The Flowery Branch girls tennis team lost just four games in taking an impressive 5-0 sweep over Winder-Barrow Tuesday in Region 8-AAAA action.

Anna Kate Shaw won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles and both Elizabeth Mallory and Nicole Morris took 6-0, 6-0 wins at Nos. 2 and 3 singles, respectively.

In doubles, Durden Smith and Bekki Benton won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 and Dani Taylor and Madison Smith won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 to complete the sweep.

The Lady Falcons improved to 7-1 overall and 3-0 in region play with the victory.
