The former House speaker will start Wednesday with one-on-one meetings with key supporters, including Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal.
Gingrich is then scheduled to speak before the state House of Representatives and appear at a Statehouse news conference with supporters. House Speaker David Ralston has not endorsed any candidates in the presidential primary.
Gingrich will appear at a private reception at the Gainesville Civic Center from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. His campaign website indicates that the candidate will conduct a public rally from 7:00- 8:00 p.m., also at the Civic Center on Green Street.
Gingrich represented Georgia in Congress for 20 years, including two terms as House speaker. He's campaigning across the state this week, hoping that he can win the Georgia primary and break a recent losing streak.
