Tennis: West Hall boys whip Duluth

FLOWERY BRANCH -- West Hall swept the doubles matches in en route to a 4-1 win over Duluth in boys tennis action Thursday at the Bobby Bailey Tennis Center.

In the doubles, Brenden Worth and Min Kim whipped Evan Bermudez and Erol Buran 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 and Austin Dyer and Connor Kirkland beat Rick Devries and Nico Staffanell 7-5, 6-1 at No. 2 doubles.

Connor McFall won at No. 2 singles for West Hall beating Brandon Chiem 6-1, 6-2 and Tatum Scroggs knocked off Austin Lloyd 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 at No. 3 singles. Duluth's only win came at No. 1 singles when Ahbi Ramarchandiran beat Max Wilson 6-3, 6-2

West Hall (3-1) will play host to Walnut Grove on Tuesday in a Region 8B-AAA matchup.
