Jonathan Cook defeated Gaines Bullock at No. 1 singles 6-2, 7-5 while Juan Carrion whipped Nick Martin 6-2, 6-3 in No. 2 singles. Jeremy Cwikla came from a set down to defeat Luke Fowler 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 at No. 3 singles.
In doubles, Blaine Brown and Reed Johnson beated Brandon Myers and Brandon Hudson 7-6(7-1), 6-3 at No. 1 and Casey Campbell and Dillan Stapler came from down 5-0 in the first set at No. 2 doubles to rally for a 7-6(10-8), 6-1 victory over Adam Brown and Cory Steffan.
The War Eagles next will travel to Lumpkin County next Tuesday in a rematch of the subregion's top two teams from a year ago.
